Goswick Captains Raise £2,700 for Local Charities in 2023

As one of their final duties as Goswick’s Club Captain and Ladies’ Captain, Mark and Helen Ringland recently presented cheques of £1,325 apiece to their respective designated charities for the year:Andy’s Man Club and Berwick Stroke Club.

 

Andy’s Man Club focuses on helping to prevent men’s suicide by offering free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups across the UK and online. Their mission: to end the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and help men through the power of conversation. You can learn more about the charity by clicking here.

Ladies’ Captain Helen Ringland(right) makes donation to Joy Lamb and Kath Burgon of BerwickStroke Club.

Berwick Stroke Club is a welcoming social group open to anyone affected by stroke, including the sufferer, carer, family and friends. You can learn about them by clicking here.

 

Mark and Helen wish to thank everyone who contributed to their charity funds over the past year. These donations are part of Goswick’s larger commitment to give back to the local community that has been so supportive of the club over its more than 130 years.
